Remembering cousin Margaret today. Here we are having a sleepover back in the day... down on the farm... the days of Paisley pattern quilts. I'll be writing her funeral script today and delivering it next Saturday. Sad.

In 2011, Erin and I went on a Rites of Passage training course with Sue Gill and Gilly Adams in Falkland as research for Fling. We were to take an object along that meant something. I took the photo just posted - mum and dad (Jock & Puffy). We laid our objects on a table and then each of us picked one and imagined its story. The lovely Persephone wrote this. Fills me with joy and melancholy.
